iphone review

It has been well over 2 months since I got my Apple iphone 3g and am happy with the decision that I made to get my own phone line and get a phone that I have wanted for some time now. My Black Berry was falling apart and didn’t want to get another one. So on an early morning when I was off from work I went to the Apple store in Houston, waited in a snake like line, and finally after a 2 hour ordeal walked out with my newest apple hardware.

The main reason of purchase… Compatibility

I had 2 Apple products and felt that it would be cool to get a device that I can use with those products, specifically my macbook pro. I use the calendar quite a bit and wanted to have that feature on my phone. I was able to download a program that worked with outlook and ical, but didn’t like the way it looked on my blackberry. Hurricanes Suck, Especially When it Hits You

I have been with power for a week and can say that electricity feels so damn good. I never took turning on the light to the restroom or closet or taking a hot shower for granted, but being without all of the necessities for 10 whole days. I don’t watch much t.v., however I caught up on my reading, alone time, and seeing old friends. The activity that I missed the most was being able to get online to read blog post and write blog entries or whatever is on my mind. During the day there was no problem operating a normal life, but it really sucks ass that you are dictated by mother nature to stop all of what you are doing because there isn’t any light outside.

Hurricane Ike

All you really need to know is that hurricane Ike fucked up alot. He fucked up Galveston and the surrounding Gulf Coast as well as Houston and the greater limits of the city. The street lights are getting back to working, most of the homes and businesses have power, and the broken trees are disappearing slowly from people’s driveways. It is really amazing how quickly the city, Centerpoint, and other agencies have worked to remove the debris and turn the electricity back on for a population of nearly 4 million people.

27th Birthday

27

I don’t know what it will bring. I expect it to be better than 26, but we shall see.

26

Was a great year. I learned, I lived, and I’ve grown.

As I look back it really is amazing what I did while planning and what I did without planning.

My thoughts became words and actions and have begun to express myself more evident than in the past.

I dream more and see myself making them into reality.

I can say fully that ever since getting out of school 3 years ago I have determine my passions and taking steps to seeing them become possible.
