I don’t want to do weddings. I don’t want to do portraits, either. Studio work takes time, practice and money, same as sports photography.
I’m a picky individual and now that I’m starting to find my niche in this photography game of business, I’m realizing all of the areas that I just mentioned are people’s bread and butter, livelihood of providing themselves and family an income to survive and live off of. So, how do I get involved in the photography game when I don’t want to do what the majority of people are doing?
Lol, I don’t know yet. I’m still figuring that part out. For now, I like landscape, urban, travel, food, some portrait, product isn’t bad, macro, and abstract photography. The lesson here that I have to learn is that I can’t make somebody give me money on a skill they have no interest in or find value added to their respective need or want.
This is where I need to start, this is me defining my pitch to understand and get into the heads of my prospects.
