It is getting scary and exciting at the same time. My trip is less than 2 weeks away and have two books to finish reading and a ton of book reviews before I leave. Here are a couple of the things that I am currently up to.
Work is a blurr
I don’t know what it is about work. It is either have “some” work and do it or don’t have no work and have to rely on my ipod for enjoyment for my work days. I so wish I could use that time to work on past projects or task that I am so behind on.
1. Information Overload– Too much information is burdensome and unnecessary so just stop it. Figure out what you do read and why and figure out the 80/20 principle to material that is taking up your time on making money or enjoying life.
2. Doing a little goes along way– Just doing one task everyday no matter how small the task can help you form a habit of always doing something towards your blog and will simply get things done without the need to always thinking you have to plan to get things done.
Last week was the first week of not doing any weightlifting and doing some form of cardio. I will start my cardio in Japan where I will be walking around everywhere and eating alot of food that isn’t going to fill me up so I am expecting to lose 5-8 lbs in the 2 weeks that I am there.
Finally got a Virtual Assistant, well sorta
I have my youngest brother doing some task for me. They are small task, but will soon be things that are repetitive and annoying to do I will pass on to him. I don’t know how well this is going to work, but I know that I will have to be the assertive one to give him work and direct him into doing it the way I want things to be done.
Going to write 2 pages of personal book this month
I wrote 1 page of my personal book the first 6 months of the year. My goal for the end of the year is to write 3 chapters of atleast 10 pages each. So I will start small and pick it up. I am getting some good practice writing in this blog, my other blogs, and where ever else I write. I just have to start writing towards the book.
Finish personal website by this weekend or in early part of next week
I am not going to spend a couple of days doing this task, I am going to spend 1 day and a few hours in an isolated place to just get it done. There is no reason to plan this out for days when it ultimately only requires a few good solid hours of work.
Mission, Vision, and Goals Revisted
I have again changed my mission, vision, and goals. Well slightly and this trip to Japan will change my view of where I really want my life to be going. I always say you never know unless you try something out and this trip has been in my heart for a couple of years so this trip will determine how I view this world and how I can enjoy myself in it either traveling or with limited amount.
