Developing a personal mission statement for my life has been the hardest thing that I have done. It wasn’t like studying for a test that you knew the answers to or doing a task at work that required tons of research. My mission took me literally a month to figure out, but it will surely direct me to greatness in the world.
Is a Mission Statement for Everyone?
After sitting down writing my mission I have come to realize that everyone should have a mission. Some people know what they want to do in their life and are simply driven. However, there are many people who go through the motions and takes whatever life gives them. With a definite mission statement a person can choice to do things based on their values, goals, and whatever that is important to that individual.

My mission in life is to leave nothing to chance. I have one life on this earth so I will spend my time doing things that are challenging, interesting, and activities that I am completely passionate about. While learning and experiencing life I will do it to the best of my ability to which I feel that I have grown as a person and can connect with the world. When it is all said and done I want people to look back at my life and know that I took full advantage of life’s opportunity.
Defiintion of Vision Statement

A Definition of Vision in a dictionary: ‘An Image of the future we seek to create’.
- A vision statement describes in graphic terms where the goal-setters want to see themselves in the future. It may describe how they see events unfolding over 10 or 20 years if everything goes exactly as hoped.
- A vision statement helps you complete your goals toward your mission. Your goals can be short and long term. One thing that I truely love about a mission statement is that it really puts everything you do into perspective and also guides you to do things you want to do and not activities that will drain you and bring you down as a person.
