New day, new week. It has been two weeks since my schedule switch from working 4 days a week and back to 5 days. I don’t like the shorter weekends. I loved the fact that I had 4 (long) days of being at the office and didn’t have to see my boss all of those days. I still actually feel that I got more done because I was there during the day earlier and later and was allowed to just get my work done.
Now, I’m there shorter and practically the same time as my boss. He is constantly calling me in and getting a significantly less amount of work done.
But I do like the shorter days. I do like the extra amount of sleep I get and the ability to stay up later. I do like when I get home I can do a couple of things and still have the rest of the day to do anything else. In all ways around the new schedule, it is a better fit for me. I do like it. I just have to keep my eye on the very thing that is going to help me to create the ideal lifestyle that I like for myself.
So waking up and being focused during the week is a good thing and I didn’t think it was going to be that way.
Nothing else to talk about that. I just want to mentioned that something that I thought I was going to hate happened to turn out to be something that works.
