Here are a couple of activities I’ve been up to the past couple of weeks.

–House Hunting – I’ve been looking for a house for the past 3 weeks or so. This was sparked by my trip to Austin (well Buda), visiting old college friends. I’m at the point of actually looking at houses. I’ve done the credit check, found a realtor, qualified for a house loan, and narrow down areas around town of interest. More on this later.

–Writing – I’ve been steadily writing in my novel and non-fiction work. I’m over 100 pages in the novel and 11 pages in the non-fiction. I’ve kept a 3:1 novel to non-fiction writing ratio.

–Photography – I’ve been rading my photography book and taking photos at the same time. I’m getting the feel of my camera and my creative nature is coming alive. I will show yall my top images next week. I’m also analyzing business oppurtiniuties and have a couple of leads on events. I can’t wait until I start making money, epsecially from something not work related–and passion-driven. I’m still in the process of ironing out my business idea and will have something by the end of the month.

–4-Day Work Week – This shit is brutal. It is. The morning isn’t bad,: I wake up at the same time, well actually 3 out of 4 days at 3:33 a.m., but the afternoons is what I don’t like. I get home around 5:45-6p.m. I relax for 30 minutes, work on my etsy business for an hour, look at my photography book for 30 minutes-1 hour, make dinner, and by the time I’m ready to go to sleep it is 10-10:30. I average 4.5-5 hours of sleep during those four days. I’ve got to work something out, or I will be trying to find places around the office to take cat-naps.
